Local Mode

You can use Motif in Local Mode on smaller datasets. In Local Mode, the data will be fully stored and processed on your machine and never sent to Motif (or any other) servers.

  • Data storage: Local - Up to 2M events
  • Query speed: Limited to local machine hardware ~0.5M events/second using Chrome on MacBook Pro M1
  • Ingestion: Manual from CSV, JSON and Parquet files
  • Data updates: Manual
  • Security: SOC2, no data leaves your machine
  • Number of users: 1
  • Support: Email, office hours
